All of products are covered under a one year parts and labor warranty. However, equipment that has been mis-used
or abused will not be covered under this warranty.
All products purchased from Afforda Speech via credit card may be returned
within 30 days subject to a 15% restocking fee. Product must be returned complete
with all the
packaging and instructional material, otherwise additional fee will be charged
for the missing items.
Shipping charge is not refundable.
We currently do not accept assignment for Medicaid/Medicare. Keep in mind that in most cases,
we are offering our products at an extremely affordable price. Medicaid/Medicare funding is
only a significant issue if you are purchasing equipment costing several thousands of dollars.
Because of the low cost of our product offering as mentioned in FAQ #3, we do not rent our products.
We accept institutional purchase orders and orders from Fortune 500 companies. Other companies can pay
via credit cards.
Yes, we accept credit card purchases.
All products will ship out of Canada, however, the entire process will be transparent to you. On a daily
basis, we will have courier that clears all of our shipments through customs to
the US and bring back any returns
to Canada. So to you, it will be the same as dealing with a company based in the US, you do not have to deal
with any importation or customs issues.
Yes, we will be seeking beta testers for certain product lines. You may email us if you have interest in becoming
a beta tester.
New products are constantly in development. We typically make
announcement of new product to coincide with tradeshow events. Please
check our websites for updates on new product releases.
With exception of certain types of products, most electronic devices sold in the US market must be FCC approved.
The process is to submit a pre-production unit to FCC for electromagnetic compatibility testing. If the pre-production
unit passes the test, then the product can proceed to manufacturing and be sold to the public.
